It’s ironic that I love baking sweet things, but I don’t like eating too much of it. This matcha chocolate is perfect for me! The bitterness of the matcha balances out the sweetness of the chocolate and it’s so easy to make. Not to mention that matcha has lots of healthy benefits, which is probably diluted by the white chocolate. 🤔
In any case, this chocolate is gooood!
You’ll only need four ingredients: white chocolate, matcha powder, butter, and heavy whipping cream.

Maybe, you can mix dark chocolate and matcha together for a super healthy food experience. But that’ll probably be really bitter! 😥

It takes a lot of effort to take individual pictures of the ingredients, but hey it looks pretty! This is probably one of the rare times I’ll do this. Maybe. I’m just really eager to make this and eat it. Taking mouthwatering pictures of the ingredients is probably not the best way to appease my craving.
Warm up the cream, take it off the heat, add the chocolate, the butter, and matcha. What do you get? Just ingredients in a pot. 😛
The picture below is not that pretty. I didn’t have a small baking pan because I only made half of the recipe so I just poured it in a small plastic container lined with wax paper.
This is the end result:
I sprinkled too much matcha powder on top because I wanted it to look good in the photo 😉. It was bitter so I suggest that you put just enough on top. Oh, the things we do to get a good picture! 😁
