Mini Cheesecake πŸ§€ πŸ°

Graham and butter are probably the two combinations I will not refuse. They’re soulmates. It’s as plain and simple as that, which is why I made another post about cheesecake and this time it comes in a cute little form.

If you read my previous post about cheesecake, I mentioned that I did not have a round pan, so I used a rectangular pan instead. Tah-dah! I have a mini cheesecake pan that I magically found in our house. 😁

A JourneyΒ

I wanted to be dramatic in the title πŸ’Β but these are just photos I took while baking the cheesecake.

The graham crust. Try not to salivate! πŸ˜‰

I’ll be honest with you. I don’t really like taking pictures while baking. Why? One, I’m lazy. Two, nah I’m just lazy. But it feels worth it because I get to share my thoughts and baking with all of you. I really am thankful that you’re taking some time reading this post and I hope you guys enjoy it.

Look at the graham all packed in the mini round pans!

A little taste of heaven!

I got so nervous as I watched this baking in the oven. It puffed up so much because I filled the pan to the brim. Then I let it cool down and it deflated. I thought it was ruined, but it held firm in the end.

Mini Cheesecake

All right, but what’s the difference between the first cheesecake and now?

Great question! There is no difference! πŸ˜›

In all seriousness, this recipe had sour cream in it as opposed to the first cheesecake I made. Most of the cheesecake recipes I found had sour cream in it. It’s supposed to improve the texture and taste of the cream cheese.

There was an added sourness to the cheesecake, which to be honest was not bad. And I didn’t notice a difference in texture between the first cheesecake and this. But at least I know I prefer my cheesecake without the sour cream. To each his own!

Baking Life Lesson

What did I learn? Nothing really. I just wanted to make cheesecake and eat it. I guess I just learned what I preferred, which is always a trial and error basis. How could you say you truly liked something if you never compared it?

Guess I did learn a little bit of something. You get it? hahaha I’m so lame! ✌🏻
