Graham and butter are probably the two combinations I will not refuse. They’re soulmates. It’s as plain and simple as that, which is why I made another post about cheesecake and this time it comes in a cute little form.
I wasn’t exactly craving chocolate when I made this. I was taking care of my two-year-old niece and I needed some way to distract her and make her stay still because she kept moving around and climbing on chairs. My solution: make an easy chocolate cake that involves very little preparation and ingredients.
To be more exact, it’s a mango-apple pie. I used a hybrid fruit: a mango and apple in one. It looks like a mango but it has a reddish-yellow color. I didn’t have any mangoes around. That’s me, you know. I just make use of anything lying around — like an exotic mango-apple fruit. It’s sort of ironic. 🤔
It’s ironic that I love baking sweet things, but I don’t like eating too much of it. This matcha chocolate is perfect for me! The bitterness of the matcha balances out the sweetness of the chocolate and it’s so easy to make. Not to mention that matcha has lots of healthy benefits, which is probably diluted by the white chocolate. 🤔
In any case, this chocolate is gooood!
As I’ve said in one of my blog posts, I will be posting about Tea. Baked goods and tea are a match made in heaven! The sweetness of the baked good is balanced out by the subtle bitterness of the tea. Why did I put a strawberry icon on the title? You have to read the post and find out! 😉
Yum Yum Yum… the best brownie recipe I found was in an old book. Granted, this is the only brownie recipe I remember ever making so my opinion probably lost its credibility. Nah! You guys can trust my taste buds! 🤤
It’s my first time participating in the Daily Prompt! ✌🏻
